Summer 2010
Congratulations to the Seahorse family for another great season! we finished second at the city meet, finishing behind Fairhope by a mere 80 points. If you have any pics from the season and would like to share, please mail a cd or email me a copy of a few. We will make a slideshow for the website.
Those of you that are missing ribbons or medals - I'll be back Mon. and will be able to try to fix problems when I get back.
We had several record-breaking swims at the city meet- including Emmie Smith (br) and Kyle Simpson (bk). Then our senior boys have been very close every year to breaking the freesyle relay record and this year they crushed it by 2 seconds. Also, we had a thrillng race in the 200 medley relay. Andrew Pischek, Jd Powell, Kyle Simpson, and Sam Beemster broke the 29-year old record. Beemster caught up and touched out ESP to claim the record. If any of you have a recording of the race, please let me know.
Thank you for all of your help this season!!!
